Eliana Marie Memorial Scholarship
Eliana was a 4.0 student, Cardinal Scholar and a multiple sport varsity athlete. She graduated from Robertson High School in 2011; she graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2014, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. Eliana was accepted to the University Of Colorado School Of Law with intensions of becoming an Environmental Lawyer. The Eliana Marie Scholarship will be awarded to a senior Robertson High School female scholar/athlete for the 2023-2024 school year. The Scholarship will be awarded annually on the basis of achievement in academics and athletics. All information will be kept confidential. Required Information: Completion of application, a letter of recommendation by a high school teacher or an athletic coach, an official High School transcript and a one page essay on an individual who has influenced your life. United States Senate Youth Program
United States Senate Youth Program is a national initiative to provide a yearly opportunity for talented young people with demonstrated interest in public service to deepen their interest and understanding of America’s political processes and encourage their commitment to political leadership.
The United States Senate Youth Program brings the highest-level officials from each branch of government together with a competitively select group of high-school students (two high school juniors or seniors from each of the fifty states, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education Activity) during an intensive week-long educational program held in Washington, D. C. In addition, each student receives a one-time $10,000 undergraduate college scholarship with encouragement to pursue coursework in history and political science. For over fifty years, the program has been fully funded by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation as part of the Foundation’s commitment to preparing young people for citizenship and leadership .
Viles Scholarship
The Viles Foundation is offering a scholarship to seniors who are orphan or half orphan and live in Mora or San Miguel County. Each year, the Board of Directors meets to grant scholarships. Students who have received grants in the past year are renewed if these requirements are met: a 2.0 GPA, enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and provide a transcript from the college or university. New applications are accepted from five high schools: Pecos High School, Robertson High School, West Las Vegas High School, Mora High School and Wagon Mound High School. Requirements are: proof that at the time of graduation a student is an orphan or half orphan, provide a transcript from one of the five schools in the current year and plan to be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester.
Sussman-Miller Educational Assistance Fund
Sussman-Miller Educational Assistance Fund awards financial assistance to students to further their education in an undergraduate program. Students who are just graduating from high school have different guidelines and application forms than students who have already completed at least one semester of undergraduate studies. To apply for financial assistance, please read through all the instructions carefully, complete the appropriate application form, and submit all requested documents before the listed deadline.

The David R. Woodling Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2007 by The Stocker Foundation, in memory of David R. Woodling. The scholarship was established to support students who are or will be attending an accredited nonprofit or public educational institution in pursuit of a certificate or degree in a metals technology program with a concentration in machine tool technology and welding.

Eligibility:
Must be of Hispanic heritage
U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2024-2025 academic year
Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

HSF Scholar Application Timeline:
January – Phase I of the application opened January 1 and closes on February 15, 2024, 5:00 PM PT
Late February – Applicants are evaluated and the most competitive are selected as Finalists
March 1 – Finalists are announced and asked to submit essays, recommendations, transcripts, FAFSA, and other related documents
June – HSF Scholars are announced (includes both funded and Scholars waitlisted for funding)
June to November – Final Document Verification (financial aid award letter, enrollment verification, and related documents)
December – 10,000 HSF Scholars are confirmed after the verification process is complete
